This is typical of the type flying I did for many years in Shell, Ecuador as a missionary pilot with Mission Aviation Fellowship.  Missionary pilots are among some of the best trained pilots in the world.  Not my words, but the words often penned in magazines such as Flying, Plane & Pilot and Air & Space.

MAF in Ecuador

This first one is of a landing into Tiweano.  This strip is the base where Wycliffe Bible translators labored for twenty five years on the New Testament translation for the Waorani Indians.  I made a bunch of takeoff and landings into Tiweano.
